    Job Description

    As a Payroll & Compliance Administrator at Equinox, you will play a vital role in supporting the payroll function. This position is ideal for someone with foundational payroll knowledge and a keen interest in developing further in this field. You will assist in managing payroll processes and contribute to the successful operation of the payroll department under the guidance of the Payroll Business Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct daily audits of employee timesheets: 22 clubs, ~100 PTs (to ensure accuracy prior to payroll processing, ensuring compliance to labor and company polices)
    • Reach out to PTs with any discrepancies between their timesheet and calendar, escalating to their manager if necessary
    • Navigating Zendesk to redirect tickets to the correct department for further assistance,
    • Solve tickets on Zendesk regarding BLINK shift allocations, time clock issues, timesheet adjustments, employee inquiries, and providing timesheet access to EQX, Blink, SoulCycle employees at all levels
    • Facilitate garnishment process on an everyday basis by uploading documents on UKG and updating employee garnishment folders in the payroll drive
    • Create and follow up with tax cases on UKG
    • Check the physical payroll mailbox, forwarding necessary documents to the appropriate department, updating the mail register document on Excel and uploading scanned mail documents to the OneDrive
    • Providing the legal and benefits department with pay stubs for employee wage verifications
    • Generate pre-check/post-check reports essential for the payroll process on UKG and Microsoft Power BI on a bi-weekly basis
    • Anything to assist payroll coordinators, such as: reaching out to employees about expired checks, logging checks, printing Fedex labels, packaging and sending checks
    • Soul Cycle Payroll Training
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Basic understanding of payroll processing and systems.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Experience in a payroll or finance role.
    • Familiarity with the Dimensions system or other payroll software.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team.

    Pay Transparency: $16.50 - 20.00/hr
