OPIS IS HIRING A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) AT OPIS ISLAND LAKE CENTER IN LONGWOOD, FL TO WORK OUR FULL-TIME FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY 7AM-7PM SHIFT.  WE OFFER A COMPETITIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PROGRAM

THE  IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE ROLE IS SOMEONE WHO IS A CARING AND COMPASSIONATE INDIVIDUAL THAT IS DEDICATED TO MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THEIR CUSTOMERS, AND WHO HAVE A DESIRE TO LEARN AND EXPAND PROFESSIONALLY IN A SUPPORTIVE, COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE REGISTERED NURSE’S SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WITH OPIS INCLUDE:

• Taking an active role in direct customer assessment and care
• Formulating individualized Nursing Care Plans and updates with change in status utilizing the nursing process
• Participating in the training and supervision of Nursing personnel
• Managing conflict through effective problem-solving and communication skills

THE REGISTERED NURSE’S EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ARE:

• Active Florida RN license
• Up-to-date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles
• 6+ months previous skilled nursing or long term care experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
• CPR certification
