    Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator Job Description EAP Coordinator Total Employee Rewards (Employee Relations) Corporate Headquarters San Antonio, TX Zachry Group is currently seeking an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator for its Home Office in San Antonio. As part of Zachrys Total Employee Rewards (TER) group, the Employee Enrichment Services team is the focal point of support for our employees. The Employee Enrichment Services team provides support to our employees and their families through compassionate assistance when various life issues and challenges arise. These services cover topics such as extended leaves and illnesses, mental health issues, spiritual direction, alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, childcare, parenting, eldercare, legal, financial, educational and management support. The Enrichment Services Lead will provide strategic support for the Enrichment Services team and collaborate with other TER teams to ensure employees are receiving a special experience. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, implement and manage programs related to integrating employee well-being services * Help support applicable state and federal employee leaves such as FMLA, short-term disability and long-term disability * Provide in-person, telephonic and email assistance to employees and their family members * Research information, resources and referrals for employees and their family members * Provide presentations regarding Total Employee Reward services * Continually promote Total Employee Reward program throughout the organization * Develop and maintain relationships with business units * Conduct occasional site visits and hospital visits * Maintain case records in a Case Management System (CMS) * Collaborate with departments on projects and initiatives related to employee well-being * Be accessible to management by phone and/or email for critical incident consult and response 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (including holidays) * Maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy * Operate with sensitivity toward differences in backgrounds, culture, and belief systems * Have an open mind and be empathetic * Exhibit professionalism and compassion in their daily work within the corporate environment * Have the ability to connect with people from various types of background * Other duties as assigned Job Requirements REQUIREMENTS * Bachelors degree in relevant field of study

    • 3 5 years experience in related field of study * Bilingual (Fully Fluent in Spanish) * Project Management and analytical skills * Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) * Ability to travel on short notice PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelors degree in psychology, sociology or related field * Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent field of study * 1-3 years of experience working in an internal EAP or Benefits Administration * Experience in providing integrative wellbeing services to employees * Licensed MSW, LPC or equivalent field of study applicable to the EAP profession * EAPA Certification The EAP Coordinator does not provide direct clinical care. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Position may include visits to construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots. WORK ENVIRONMENT Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites, noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking.
