    Job Description

    The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program Manager will provide on-site OHS and EHS support for a high technology customer to support a dynamic and developing global OHS program. The OHS Program Manager will own safety programs from development to implementation and management of the program.

    The right candidate for this role must not have a rigid approach to safety, but must be adaptable, creative, and collaborative, with a keen ability to build relationships, prioritize tasks, and satisfy multiple stakeholders’ needs. This role will serve on a team of safety professionals, each with their own expertise.

    • Owns the development, implementation, and management of safety programs
    • Provides expert advice and consultation to stakeholders for implementing hazard controls, safety training, compliance to local, state, federal, and company standards, and other relevant topics.
    • Performs Industrial Hygiene (IH) Monitoring.
    • Conducts incident and injury investigations, risk assessments, audits, walkthroughs, and inspections.
    • Acts as brand ambassador for SGS values and expertise
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or **** related field. Degrees in other fields will also be considered, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in the Occupational Health & Safety field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Occupational Health & Safety industry experience
    • High technology industry or R&D experience
    • Safety program creation and implementation

    Preferred:

    • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or ability to obtain
    • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or ability to obtain
    • Experience in consulting
    • Experience in laser and drone safety

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Ability to work effectively in high pressure, high volume, high growth environment, balancing several assignments concurrently with different deadlines
    • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, on phone, and via email with diverse group of stakeholders
    • Professional credibility, preferable through an understanding of the environmental, industrial hygiene, and/or high technology industries
    • Possesses strong cross-team/ group/ org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.

    The salary range for this position is $101,200 - $131,500 (dependent on experience).

    In addition, your compensation package includes the following benefits:

    • Participation in the Company’s benefit programs coincident or following the first of the month in which you are hired.
    • Immediate eligibility to participate in the Company’s 401K Retirement Plan
    • Paid time off:
      • Fifteen (15) vacation days
      • Four (4) floating holidays annually
      • Seven (7) company observed holidays paid
      • Sick time accrual
