In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. NH-03: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as the following duties: 1) Providing support as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on multiple contracts, task orders, and delivery orders. 2) Providing recommendations on contracting approaches for small and large requirements; 3 ) Advising requirement owners on the most expeditious and appropriate methods of procurement and the contracting process; and, 4 ) Applying Acquisition Regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Acquisition Pathways to plan and manage the contract development process. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent.
NH-02 Specialized Experience : To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. specialized experience is defined as: 1) Assisting with the coordination of contract management functions to include acquisition requirements package development and contract administration; 2) Problem solving and analysis in the management of contractual matters; AND 3) Assisting in executing contract/program related goals and advising program officials in procurement planning. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-I. (GS04).

Education : I have a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree obtained from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience : A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
To qualify based on Education and/or a combination of education and experience you must submit a copy of your transcripts. To qualify based on education alone, your transcripts MUST show a confer/award date.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
