DUTIES:
Cost Analyst NH-1515-02, Full Performance Level NH-03: Employees will be responsible for analysis, economic analysis, data analysis, metrics development, and management and program reporting. Leads a variety of studies to develop, review, validate, maintain, present, and defend Project Manager (PM)/ Program Executive Officer (PEO)/Department of Army (DA) positions on varying aspects of studies or analysis for assigned programs or projects. Develops cost estimating relationships and computational methods and factors for the improvement of the overall data research, cost estimating, cost tracking, and cost validation capability.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution
Acquisition Certification- Professional certification in Cost Estimating. Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.

Required Administrative Careers with America (ACWA) assessment for positions at GS-05/07 equivalent level
This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position covered by DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act). Selectees must meet position requirements for certification Professional (should be Foundational Professional is only for 1101 series) within 36 months of entry on duty.
Some positions may require up to 10% travel
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
