    Job Summary

    About the Position: This Human Resources Specialist position is located in the CECOM G-1 office, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This position is subject to the NH-03 Non-Supervisory Journey Professional control point of the CECOM Control Point Policy. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than GS-13 Step 5 or $126,947.

    Job Description

    • Serve as a G1, Human Resources (HR) Specialist, for the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM).
    • Serves as Human Resources Advisor on a diverse spectrum of human resources management (HRM) functions.
    • Provide expert advice to the G1 Director on command wide HR issues.
    • Monitors and signs for receipt of supplies, equipment, transfers, and equipment disposals IAW Army regulations.

    • Ensures equipment database is maintained to provide up to date records of hand receipt holder (HRH) transactions.
    • Extract management data from existing HR applications and any other available system in response to requirements.
