Job Description

• Applies supply planning expertise to balance supply to meet forecasted demand by generating secondary item supply action recommendations.
• Plans, develops, implements, and manages effective and affordable product supply support strategies throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems, as addressed in applicable policy/regulatory guidance.
• Reviews Material Requirements Planning (MRP) inputs and coordinates with the authoritative source of these inputs.
• Evaluates and synthesizes analysis provided to resolve complex supply planning issues involving processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day operational procedures for assigned secondary items.
• Ensures the command's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products.
• Develops plans, policies, and procedures and exercises overall team leadership for supply chain-related matters.
• Works collaboratively with other organizations to address program operations and ensure user needs and planning assumptions are incorporated into program activities.
