About the Position: The Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland with activities located at Fort Belvoir, Fort Hood, Fort Huachuca, and Logistics Assistance Representatives stationed in eight countries. The ILSC mission is to provide global C4ISR logistics support to the warfighter and coalition forces, in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Job Description
1. Serves as a Lead Inventory Management Specialist (Lead Demand Planner) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Lead Demand Planner is responsible for personnel performing duties to develop and manage a consensus-driven wholesale demand plan that accounts for all requirements across all supported customers throughout the sustainment phase of the assigned systems' lifecycle. Serves as the central point of contact and technical advisor for demand planning issues, and the exchange of information between personnel on the assigned team, with other command personnel, and with other organizations. 2. Serves as a Lead Supply Systems Analyst in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Lead Supply Systems Analyst is responsible for personnel performing duties maintaining the system administration, technical and operational guidance for systems and tools to support current and future work of functional business processes and maintain data collection. Automation responsibilities include defining requirements and planning the implementation of automated logistics systems. Plans, develops, coordinates, and conducts analyses of systems, procedures, methods, and practices pertaining to the data processing system programs; interfaces workflow and personnel utilization activity involving an expansive, complex organization. Provides technical guidance and training to the team on the use and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and supporting applications. Serves as the central point of contact and technical advisor for system analyst issues, and the exchange of information between personnel on the assigned team, with other command personnel, and with other organizations. 3. Serves as Lead Program Analyst (Organic Industrial Base Sourcing) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Lead Analyst is responsible for personnel advocating for the OIB as a source of supply to the Supply Chain Organization. Serves as the central point of contact and technical advisor for OIB sourcing issues, and the exchange of information between personnel on the assigned team, with other command personnel, and with other organizations. 4. Serves as a Lead Inventory Management Specialist (Supply Planner) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Lead Supply Planner is responsible for personnel performing duties to develop and manage a consensus-driven wholesale supply plan that accounts for all requirements across all supported customers throughout the sustainment phase of the assigned systems' lifecycle. Serves as the central point of contact and technical advisor for supply planning issues, and the exchange of information between personnel on the assigned team, with other command personnel, and with other organizations. 5. Serves as a Lead Strategic Sourcing Directorate Procurement Coordinator. The lead procurement coordinator should have experience with procurement principles and technical or program requirements. The lead will be responsible for making decisions or recommendations on the acquisition approach or strategy for complex long-term contracts and vendor relationships. In the strategic supplier role, the coordinator will drive command purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis as well as market trends, the individual will maintain strategic sourcing relationships and drive strong partnerships. In the procurement planning role, the individual will collaborate with the weapon system directorates and stakeholders across the ILSC to drive procurement decisions, developing and tracking requirement packages. The development of packages includes the creation of key acquisition documents (Market Research, J&A etc.). In the vendor performance role the lead procurement coordinator will ensure suppliers meet command expectations, ensure proper quality and post award responsibilities are met. The individuals are responsible for working with vendors, the supplier relationship team and acquisition centers to resolve all manner of post award contracting concerns. For all positions, individuals will serve as Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs). 6. Serves as a Lead Inventory Management Specialist (Order Fulfillment) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Lead Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for personnel performing duties as the primary contact and advocate for supported units' orders execution who are responsible for optimizing order fulfillment and enabling readiness of the supported warfighters through accurate and timely order processing and response to supported unit requests. Serves as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for order fulfillment issues, and the exchange of information between personnel on the assigned team, with other command personnel, and with other organizations. 7. Serves as a Lead Inventory Management Specialist (Distribution) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). The Lead Distribution Specialist is responsible for personnel performing duties for the inventory management.

Develops inventory management and supply planning operations expertise to balance supply to meet forecasted demand by generating secondary item supply action recommendations within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; 2. Interfaces with a broader group of demand planners, inventory specialists, managers, Organic Industrial Base (OIB) program analysts, and supervisors to integrate all known planning assumptions into supply plans; 3. Monitors supply plan to actuals and assist in root cause analysis of discrepancies to address gaps This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (GS-11).
