    Job Description

    • Serves as a Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager responsible for ensuring the development of all elements of ILS for assigned systems in a Project Management Office.
    • Works with other personnel in the organization in planning and implementing overall specifications, Acquisition Plans, Decision Coordinating Papers, Statements of Work, Procurement Work Directives, implementing instructions and Coordinated Test Plans
    • Applies knowledge and experience in program/budget control and broad technical knowledge of communication concepts, techniques, practices, equipment, systems, and an intensive knowledge of maintenance requirements procedures and interrelationships.
    • Modifies prescribed data items or develops one-time items for contract inclusion to meet the peculiar requirements of a given project.
    • Visits contractors or other Government agencies and services to monitor contracts and review contractor input.
    • Establishes the need for procurement data items and evaluates resultant contractor deliverables.

    Qualifications

    Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). 1) Supporting an acquisition program by applying logistic regulations to include logistic policies, principles, and procedures. 2) Assessing program processes utilizing qualitative and /or quantitative methods for program improvement. 3) Developing acquisition logistics documents to include review of current documents. AND 4) Experience in executing budget sustainment, e.g., forecasting, programming, and planning. All current Department of the Army civilian employees must attach a current SF-50 in order to be considered. Without a SF-50, your application package is considered incomplete.
