    JOB SUMMARY

    About the Position: You will work as a Team Lead in the Employee Development Division at Tobyhanna Army Depot. This position will be filled on a Temporary Basis Not to Exceed 5 years and may be made permanent without further competition.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Lead employees with the responsibility for quality and timeliness of data posted in the Total Employee Development (TED) System.

    • Communicate the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, program issues under review, deadlines, and time frames for completion to the team.

    • Distribute and balance workload and tasks to employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and occupational specialization.

    • Prepare, execute and evaluate training programs for the depot.

    • Develop and schedule complex instructional schedules.

    • Utilize TED or other programs to create specialized reports concerning efficiency performance of the training program.

    • Monitor and report on the status and progress of work.

    • Prepare correspondence, fact sheets, statistical data and electronic messages for the Command and organizations use.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience Requirement: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Determining training needs, the sources of needed training and evaluating the results of training for an organization; AND 2) Administering training and development programs which are responsive to the short and long range needs of an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education / Training Program Administration Learning and Program Evaluation Oral Communication Teamwork Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
