    JOB SUMMARY

    About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Management Assistant in the Directorate of Resource Management.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Gathers and reviews of a variety of narrative and/or statistical data to prepare reports; conducts analysis of data to make recommendations.

    • Conducts search of files and withdraws material for use in preparation of reports.

    • Utilizes established computer programs to prepare electronic spreadsheets, graphs and similar automated formats for review/presentation.

    • Sets up and operates a variety of automated office equipment (i.e. word processor, personal computer etc.) to input, correct or extract information.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05. Specialized Experience for GS-7: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Utilizing automated systems to retrieve information in order to prepare presentations and various reports; 2) Providing administrative and support services; and 3) Maintaining records or files in databases or graphs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to Detail Clerical Computer Skills Manages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement for GS-06: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). Time in Grade Requirement for GS-07: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
