One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Utilizing statistical functions to collect and study organization data; 2) Analyzing and monitoring the data from output trends and studies to make written and oral recommendations to leadership; 3) Developing resolutions to problems affecting organizational efficiency and affordability; AND 4) Monitoring and verifying the technical or administrative aspects of contractor performance during the life-cycle of the contract to ensure conformance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management or Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Mathematical Reasoning Organizational Awareness Process Control Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is the Army’s materiel integrator for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness. As a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), CECOM collaborates with Army Commands, Program Executive Offices, other AMC commands, and industry partners to provide, integrate, and sustain world-class C5ISR hardware, software, and mission command capabilities for the joint warfighter. CECOM maintains a global team of approximately 9,000 Soldiers, civilians, and contractors and is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.
