    BUSINESS OVERVIEW | Enterprise Risk provides effective risk oversight and decision-making across the organization. We are closely integrated with Wells Fargo businesses providing risk management and a clear engagement model that promotes challenge and the escalation of material issues and information to the right audiences. We are committed to setting a global standard in managing all forms of risk (operational, market, credit, compliance, and line of business-specific control functions, etc.) and helping to serve customers’ needs while protecting their assets, information, and privacy.

    PROGRAM OVERVIEW | The Enterprise Risk Development Program focuses on early risk career leadership, professional development, and overall business acumen to prepare you for leadership roles in risk management. As an associate, you’ll participate in key development and job rotational opportunities to help you build leadership skills and gain an understanding of risk management at Wells Fargo. 

    Associates will work as full time team members during this 12 month developmental program that includes:

    • Experience  in different risk disciplines across risk teams supporting Wells Fargo’s vision and values
    • Formal training opportunities through extensive onboarding and orientation activities and throughout the program to prepare you for a career within Risk at Wells Fargo
    • Mentoring relationships and coaching to support your professional development
    • Exposure to multiple business lines and risk responsibilities

    Upon successful completion and meeting program requirements, you will have the opportunity to transition into a targeted position across the Enterprise Risk and Control Function job families.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Participate in and provide consulting and support for projects and initiatives with moderate risk.
    • Effectively work with internal stakeholders, lines of business, enterprise risk groups and risk partners
    • Execution on strategic priorities and reporting
    • Work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
    • Proactively identify and resolve compliance matters
    • Identifying risks and/or gaps through trending analysis and report results to stakeholders
    • Build and sustain relationships with peers, Executive Office and business partners
    • Provide strategic support to risk and control teams in coordination and execution of initiatives
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate effectively in both a face-to-face and virtual environment

     

     

    Those considered for the program will be a Bachelor’s degree candidate with an expected graduation in DECEMBER, 2019 – MAY/JUNE 2020

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ months of professional experience through internships, part-time, or full-time work

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
    • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry

    OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong analytic and/or process skills including manipulating data
    • Knowledge and or experience in compliance and operational risk
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Demonstrated interest/experience in manipulating data and reporting, data visualization, and/or data analytics
