What's the role?
As a Summer Intern, you’ll join a team based on your skills and interests, and gain experiences that will help launch your career. We recognize your individuality and will work with you to identify the department that can benefit from your experiences and help to develop your professional and leadership skills.
In addition to your hands-on project work, you’ll attend a speaker series, designed to teach you about our company, people, and culture. There will also be plenty of opportunity to meet Bloomberg leaders at a variety of networking events. Of course, we also want to give you the chance to get to know your peers, so together you’ll give back to the community at the annual Bloomberg Intern Day of Service, take part in social events including visits to cultural institutions and participate in professional trainings with interns from other departments.
Throughout the internship, you’ll be supported by your manager, mentor, and a recruiter to ensure you receive regular feedback on your work and help navigating the company.
Interns are placed within one of the business areas below based on strengths, interests, and business needs.
Financial Solutions: Teams within Bloomberg that support the Bloomberg Professional Service (The Terminal) that delivers real-time data, news and analytics to more than 325,000 subscribers globally. Interns may be hosted in departments such Enterprise Services, Workplace Operations and Supply Chain among others.
Corporate Functions: Departments committed to helping Bloomberg remain efficient and effective in day-to-day operations Interns may work in departments such as Finance Administration, Accounts Payable, Human Resources, among others.
External Relations: Teams that manage our brand and the messages we send to the marketplace, our clients, and employees. Internships may be hosted in departments such as Marketing, Events, Corporate Communications, Corporate Philanthropy, among others.

Salary Range: 25 - 25 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
