    We’re seeking future team members for our Belonging & Inclusion Team with the role located in New York, NY in a hybrid position.

    Belong & Inclusion

    The Strategic Programming Team in the Office of Belonging & Inclusion leads the organizational alignment, governance and operation of BNY’s (6) Employee & Business Resource Groups, manages the Belonging & Inclusion Learning Portfolio (internal and external), owns Leadership Development for underrepresented talent and ideates and leads Global Enterprise Volunteer Programming. Leading 200+ events, programs and initiatives, annually, the team is skilled in event production, project/program management and possesses the empathy and active listening skills necessary to support global team members of diverse backgrounds and experiences in feeling a sense of belonging and inclusion in the workplace.

    Program Eligibility

    • Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred, ideally in Human Resources Management, Project/Event Management, Community Engagement/Development or a related field
    • Individuals who will be graduating in December 2024 for a February 2025 start date
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
    • Well-rounded experience including demonstrated leadership skills in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Strategy and Volunteer Management
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • A drive for advancing equity and making the world a more inclusive place
    • Not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where they apply.

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $63,000 and $70,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

    This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
