Agriculture Business Line Intern - Summer 2025

The primary focus of this placement is assisting the Agricultural Business Line. Interns will be expected to take initiative, participating in cross-product teams while working independently. The successful individual will thrive in a highly diverse role and is willing and enthusiastic to participate in a wide variety of tasks required of them in order to help grow and support the business.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Assist in market research for strategic initiatives and investments

• Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources

• Contribute to on-going projects, providing analytical, high quality work

• Attend meetings with internal stakeholders to understand wider impacts of initiatives

• Preparing relevant content for stakeholders

• Liaising with various internal departments such as sales, marketing and legal

• Contributing creative ideas to help solve real world business problems

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in college/university

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

• Local to Chicago and able to come into the office 3-4 times per week (address is 20 S Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have a strong interest in Agriculture markets and technology

• Have familiarity with CME Group and corporate venture capital

• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

• Strong research skills and work ethic

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
