Security Officer - Rio Rancho, NM Alliance Data - Retail 915 reviews - Albuquerque, NM 87102 Description The Security Officer greets every associate and visitor as they enter the Alliance Data facility, and controls all persons access into the building. This role requires someone who is customer centric who also possess a critical thinking skill set. The Security Officer assists in crisis management when it comes to events such as weather related emergencies, associate medical emergencies, security related events, and other happenings as they arise. Please note that any candidate that receives an offer for this position will be required to pass a criminal background check as well as a Physical Ability Test (PAT). Responsibilities: * Controls access into the building by verifying credentials and assigning visitor access as required. * Performs First Aid when needed. * Conducts safety checks of buildings and parking lots. * Writes incident and accident reports as required. * Assists with miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements: * Must be able to respond on foot, quickly by running, to medical and security related incidents anywhere on the facility property. * Must be able to walk the interior and exterior of the facility several times throughout a shift in all weather conditions. * Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. to pick-up and deliver packages, respond to medical incidents with a first aid bag (contains supplies, AED, Oxygen Unit), empty shred bins, and other instances as they arise.

• Must be able to physically participate, train, and perform personnel protection and defense tactics. * Must be able to pass a PAT (physical ability test).
