    H&B Analyst Requisition ID 2431280 Job Family US-CT-Norwalk Posting Description Aon is looking for an H&B Analyst As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health & Benefits business group within Aon Risk Solutions in Norwalk, CT. Your Impact as an H&B Analyst Job Responsibilities: Act as member of various client teams supporting projects and on-going management of health and benefits programs for our clients Coordinate with appropriate team(s) to request a Discount Analysis , Benchmarking tools; etc. assist lead consultant with client presentation of results Draft RFPs and other deliverables for lead consultant/project manager review. Work with vendors on follow-up requests and questions. Manage data collection process for renewals or pricing: gather, manipulate, and summarize data Set up data analysis tools (spread sheeting) and data warehouse and carrier reporting Review proposal responses for reasonableness, accuracy, and meeting client requirements Provide negotiation reports and financial analysis/prep for negotiations; assist in negotiations Review benefit information for completeness, comparison to previous year, and wording consistency Perform accuracy review of plan information (rates/benefits) before being sent to clientConduct service area analysis and reporting, including: GeoAccess analysis Provider disruption analysis Migration/election analysis (for non-HRO clients, coordinate with HRO when they do analysis) Conduct plan performance/administration analysis Perform vendor management, including carrier follow-up, problem resolution, negotiations, etc. Review contract benefits and rates Assist in the preparation of client documents Follow up with client and vendor requests as needed Work on various ad hoc projects throughout the year with direction from lead consultant Develop relationship with day-to-day client contacts Participate in local and national training events/initiatives to further understanding of the business, as applicable You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Detail orientation Organization skills Communication skills (written and verbal) Software skills (especially Excel) 2+ years Benefits knowledge - (either in brokerage/consulting firm or comparable carrier experience) Analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) Expanding project management activities Experience using online tools and resources Education: Bachelors degree We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
