Preferred Qualifications See Below Description SUMMARY: The Human Resources (HR) Recruiting System Specialist 2 participates in all aspects of the recruiting system process for mid to upper level professional positions and ensures that all steps in the process are in compliance with established guidelines and regulations. This process includes analyzing credit reports, conducting background and reference checks, building partnerships with HR and hiring managers through the recruiting process, and tracking applicants for Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance. Additionally, the HR Recruiting System Specialist 2 analyzes credit with adverse items on qualified applicants and evaluates and determines if the applicant meets established guidelines. The incumbent must utilize all confidential information in a professional manner and possess the ability to interpret information and make informed decisions using discretion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Publish and manage internal/external job postings for mid to upper level professional positions on the Arvest website following posting policy, including advising local HR and hiring managers on recruiting options. Assign workflow to Specialist 1 within designated area based on professional level of position and organizational needs. Process applicants using tracking system by evaluating their qualifications, reviewing conviction information for bondability and analyzing consumer credit reports according to posting procedures. Analyze employment credit reports with adverse items and determine the appropriate disposition based on internal guidelines. Notify applicants in accordance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines regarding disposition of application as it relates to credit information. Assist applicants with adverse or questionable credit with the dispute process. Ensure necessary documentation is obtained in order to determine if appropriate to overturn adverse decisions. Evaluate or examine credit issues including credit suppression/freezes and social security number discrepancies. Respond to escalated calls and provide problem resolution.Work closely with the HR Recruiting System Lead/Training Specialist and local HRs to resolve problems or issues when appropriate. Conduct high volume of phone interviews of applicants to pre-screen.Complete background checks, pre-screens and reference checks. Provide feedback and information on candidates to local HRs and managers and communicate with applicants as needed. Provide guidance to local HR and hiring manager with best practices in hiring according to Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) regulations and guidelines, while also providing support to local HR with I-9 Comply eVerify. Interpret policies and provide guidance and assistance to all levels of management according to federal and state laws, Arvest policies, procedures, and best practices providing legally defensive documentation for hiring practice. Responsible for Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance, including accurately dispositioning, tracking and reporting on job applicants. Responsible for documentation and AAP files being maintained in a manner complying with policy, employment laws and OFCCP regulations. Utilize effective communication and follow-through while acting as a dependable point of contact for applicants, local HRs, and hiring managers. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience required. 2 years of experience in Human Resources or administration required. 2 years of customer service experience required. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) required. Experience with HR Recruiting System required. Experience in conducting background checks required. Previous banking/financial experience preferred. Arvest experience preferred.
