We are currently seeking Advanced Practice Clinicians as Primary Care Providers (APC as PCP), for various locations throughout the Atrius Health practices. Under the general direction of the Chief of Internal Medicine, the person in this role will assume full responsibility for rendering of professional medical services to a panel of patients in an ambulatory care setting. Works in a collaborative team practice that recognizes the patient as the center of the team. Promotes enhanced continuity, visible team work, and the establishment of trusting and effective individual relationships with patients. This person will provide the full scope of primary care services within their licensure, education and training. Practices in accordance with contemporary, evidence based practice. Provides leadership presence to the primary care team including but not limited to other PCPs, APCs, RNs, LPNs, MAs, pharmacists, case managers and population health managers. Acts as a mentor and role model to professional staff within the department. Education/Licenses/Certifications: Graduate of a state-approved Program for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Must have graduated from a master's level state and NLN approved NP program and possess state licensure to practice in the expanded role. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Physician Assistant (PA) - Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as a Physician Assistant. NP/PA Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration. Skills and Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a primary care setting is required.
