Role Description:

Our Fintech client in Atlanta is looking for a full time controller to join their team. This position will report to the VP of Financial Operations. The current accounting team includes five employees. This role can be fully remote or hybrid but the Controller will need to work east coast hours. **

Priorities for Role

Audit readiness (for sponsor banks)

Monthly reporting / Close optimization

Establishing accounting processes and procedures

Familiarity with Technical Accounting Concepts (specifically revenue recognition)

Fintech experience required. Payment processing experience preferred.

NetSuite experience preferred.

Your Qualifications:

• CPA or MBA, preferred
• Fintech experience required
• Payment processing experience preferred
• 2+ years of controllership experience
• 7+ years of accounting experience; background in public accounting preferred
• Revenue Recognition and general familiarity with Technical Accounting concepts.
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Willing to be on site 3 days per week
