BlackRocks Fixed Income SF-based Core PM group is hiring an Investment Grade Credit Portfolio Manager, who will be focused on managing complex Separately Managed Index Accounts, with additional responsibility for Institutional and ETF funds. The successful candidate will work on all aspects of managing these funds, as an integral member of the PM team. Additionally, the successful hire will form close relationships with other Fixed Income portfolio managers, product strategists and other stakeholder groups across BlackRock, ETF & Institutional Index (EII), Portfolio Analytics (PAG) and Risk & Quantitative Analysis (RQA). Key Responsibilities: - Construct and manage IG Credit Index and ETF portfolios with daily flows, guidelines constraints, corporate actions, etc. - Work with senior PMs to manage daily cash flows and ensure portfolios are within constraints - Monitor and maintain key risk metrics across portfolios - Collaborate with Product groups in the development and launch of new funds - Monitor operating risk and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance - Enhance and streamline portfolio management processes within the Credit team and across the Core PM platform - Involvement in projects to streamline and improve the investment process. Knowledge/Experience: - Minimum 3-5 years professional work experience in the financial services sector. - BA/BS required. Progress towards CFA a plus - Working knowledge of the financial markets, with some familiarity in fixed income products and investing, experience with ETFs or Indexing a plus - Ability to grasp quantitative concepts and their application to portfolio management - Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing market environments - Ability to learn and use technology related to portfolio management, trading, proficient in Excel, Bloomberg experience a plus - Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail - Effective team player that is able to work well with other Portfolio Managers as well as develop strong working relationships with other groups across BlackRock BlackRock is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
