Position Summary:

As a Business Analyst for Design & Merchandising Systems, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals. You will design, develop, and implement solutions that address business needs, focusing on process optimization and operational efficiencies within the Design and Merchandising Systems. Additionally, you will oversee testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment tasks, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to execution while maintaining thorough documentation and providing user training and support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements definition, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
• Perform analysis to better understand business needs, identifying areas where technology and process optimization can drive improvements.
• Create process flow documents and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Design and develop solutions to address business needs, utilizing a combination of technology and process optimization.
• Oversee and coordinate testing activities, including the development of test scripts and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the defined requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of system enhancements and upgrades, maintaining alignment with business goals.
• Establish and enforce governing principles for application use to ensure process and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system design, process flows, and user manuals.
• Independently manage priorities, coordinate multiple complex projects, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Train and coach the user community on new systems, processes, and best practices, providing ongoing support as needed.

Required Skills
Required Experience
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Experience in design and merchandising systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• 5+ years experience with Centric C8 and Visual Boards
• 5+ years of experience in analysis and business process design.
• Must be willing to learn technology/concepts to effectively perform the duties outlined above.
• Proficiency with PLM software and/or merchandising systems
• Experience with helpdesk ticket management systems (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Zendesk).
• Preferred experience with cloud concepts (e.g., SaaS solutions, cloud storage)
• Preferred experience with XML, JSON, API and related technologies.
• Preferred SQL queries and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Pay rate is $50.00- 60.00/hr.
