Campus Undergraduate - 2023 American Express Discovery Program
Since 1850, American Express has worked to make a difference in our customers' lives in ways that matter most to them. We began as a freight forwarding company in 1850, earning a reputation as a company people could trust while transporting some of their most valuable possessions. In the late 19thcentury and early 20thcentury, we introduced new financial products and travel services that helped support our customers’ everyday lives. In the 1950s, we introduced a charge card, offering customers a new and convenient way to pay. Ever since, we’ve innovated our card products, our services and our other offerings. Today, American Express is the largest global payments network, and we continue to pride ourselves on being forward-looking and customer focused.
With each new development, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to our customers and our special brand of service.

About the American Express Discovery Program:
The American Express Discovery Program (ADP) is a three-day in-person and virtual diversity-focused program that affords promising undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about American Express, our business units, culture, and colleagues from our colleague network groups including the Black Engagement Network, Hispanic Origin and Latin American Network and our Office of Enterprise Inclusion, Diversity and Business Engagement. As part of our Blue Box Values, we embrace diversity and stand for inclusion. Those values are brought to life by finding the best candidates who not only hold the unique skills and diversity perspectives necessary for the role, but also reflect the communicates we come from and the customers that we serve daily around the world. This is not an application for an open role. If, based on your credentials, it is determined that you might be well qualified for an open role, you will be contacted and invited to attend the ADP program which is a networking event.
At American Express, we see diversity of people and experiences as fuel for the creativity and innovation we need to be and deliver our best, for our colleagues, customers and the communities we serve.
