Our Opportunity: The Financial Planning Group is part of the broader Investor Services organization and is primarily responsible for helping individuals and families with their financial needs. Whether its retirement planning, charitable giving, estate planning, active investing or managing banking and lending needs, Investor Services can help. The Financial Planning Group works with branch partners and Schwab Private Client Investment Advisors to provide comprehensive financial planning services for clients and prospects seeking advice on how to reach multiple goals. The financial plan includes a customized analysis to address client or prospective client goals, such as: retirement, college, risk management, asset allocation, and estate planning needs. After setting realistic expectations with the client or prospect, the Schwab Financial Planner prepares and presents a financial plan which will identify a clients current situation, opportunities and gaps, and advise on specific steps to meet financial goals. This position focuses on the implementation of advice and planning interactions conducted by the Wealth Strategist Group (WSG) team members. This individual will interact daily with clients and Schwab partners in fulfilling consultation referrals. This role is administratively focused but provides an opportunity to learn more about financial planning and wealth management. This position is designed to be a career path within the WSG, Schwab Private Client (SPC) or the Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG). To learn more about our client offerings visit: Charles Schwab - Investor Services What youll do: The Client Specialist will be the primary contact to run daily referral queries, uncover referral needs and vector to the appropriate resources (Financial Planning, Wealth Strategists, Equity Compensation Planning). Provide inbound and outbound call support for client and partners interested in learning more about our services. Support all enrollment activities including: Planner brochure, agreement/fact-finder collection, outbound referral contact and emails. Schedule Discovery Call meetings for all team members based on calendar availability. This role will be an entry level introduction to Financial Planning, Wealth Management and Schwab Portfolio Consulting and will be part of a strong team with a focus on providing advice and planning to clients and partners. This position will allow for an opportunity to deepen industry/business acumen and overall understanding of high net worth client needs.
