A Benefits Enrollment Coordinator of our Colonial Life District office is an essential position of office and enrollment operations. The Coordinator directly supports the District Manager while also overseeing all enrollment success, including but not limited to directing enrollment operations and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the District Manager
- Aid District Openers in organizing enrollment working conditions.
- Assess enrollment needs in alignment with enrollment resources and coordinate logistical deployment of benefits counselors.
- Work with the client to arrange presentations and benefit counseling sessions.
- Analyze the employee profile data provided by the account and load this data into the enrollment system.
- Data entry for client specific enrollment database.
- Install product parameters for Colonial Life products.
- Gather and analyze the appropriate data required to enroll Core (non-Colonial Life products) and set up these products in the enrollment system.
- Create an enrollment guide specific to each enrollment.
- Develop and deliver Benefits Counselor training for each enrollment.
- Prepare & deliver post enrollment reporting to each account.
- Develop and maintain close partnerships with District Account Openers, Enrollers, Home Office partners, and the Plan Administrators at the account.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to drive growth.
- Offer general assistance to clients through continuous contact to ensure quality of consumer experience
- Proactively resolve challenges and drive solutions in order to improve enrollment results.
- Collect, analyze, and report enrollment results and identify trends to drive growth and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize innovative thinking and take initiative to enhance the consumer & enrollment experience to further advance the District
Requirements:
- Superior Microsoft Office Skills, especially Excel and Access.
- Solid communication skills – both written and oral.
- Proven negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Solid problem solving skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to partner with a close team and develop strong business relationships.
- Ability to manage conflicts.
- Works well in a high volume environment.
- Takes initiative/Results oriented.
- Is willing to obtain Life and Health License
- Solid organizational skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- Experience in the Employee Benefits Industry is preferred.
- Experience with voluntary benefits is preferred.
- Strong Experience with Customer Service is preferred.
