LOOKING FOR LEADERS – SALES LEADERSHIP
1009 INDEPENDENT SALES AGENT/ AGENCY COORDINATOR OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION
The Independent Sales Agent opportunity with Combined Insurance is a 1099 independent contractor role that is authorized and appointed to sell Combined Insurance products to new customers while retaining the ability to market and sell other insurance carrier’s products. The role is responsible for independently prospecting and meeting with customers, offering them the Combined products that best meet their needs and servicing their Combined policyholders.
HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE INDEPENDENT AGENTS MAY ALSO BE ELIGIBLE TO INCREASES THEIR INCOME BY BECOMING AN AGENCY COORDINATOR SUPPORTING A TEAM OF OTHER INDEPENDENT AGENTS IN AN ASSIGNED GEOGRAPHY AND EARNING OVERRIDES ON THE TEAM’S PRODUCTION.
Independent agents are expected to engage in the following activities when working for Combined:
· Become familiar with Combined company products that they are authorized to sell.
· Generate new customers, through their own customer portfolio, external leads, customer referrals, target marketing, field prospecting, direct contact to small businesses.
· Build customer relationships and respond to customer needs and concerns.
· Conduct sales presentations and schedule sales appointments.
· Complete standard post-sales data collection documents and administrative processes as required by company.
· Handle customer service calls or refer them to appropriate channel in the company
· Abide by all laws and regulations applicable to the insurance industry and abide by the terms of their independent agent contract with the Company including meeting minimum annual production standards to remain appointed
· Assist with customer enrollments of group policies sold.
· Service policyholders
In addition to the personal sales and production responsibilities above, independent agents who qualify and are selected to become Agency Coordinators will be expected to engage in the following activities:
· Mentor and coach all assigned Independent Agents upon request.
· Assist new agents to develop a solid understanding and foundation of Combined’s products.
· Support Agents in assignment planning/appointment setting, customer visits/presentations, and conduct field training as requested.
· Remain available to meet with assigned independent agents upon their request.
· Promptly report any operation issues in setting up a new piece of business to the Agency Leader.
· Remain available to meet with assigned independent agents as requested.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
· Insurance license in life and/or accident and health issued by a state regulator and in good standing State License
· Execution of Independent Sales Agent Agreement and appointment paperwork
