Citi is looking for Full-Time Analysts to join the Commodities division in Houston, Texas. The Commodities business falls under the Citi's Markets division, and we are a top global Commodities bank. Our capabilities include trading and marketing commodities and commodity derivatives in power, natural gas, crude oil and products, and metals.

Our two-year Analyst program is a highly competitive program that gives you the opportunity to actively participate in risk management, marketing, origination, structured products, logistics or fundamental analysis. As an Analyst, you will be given the opportunity to rotate to different desks within the franchise and gain a well-rounded experience within Commodities.

The Analyst Program equips you with the knowledge and training you need in order to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career here. You will be placed on the trading floor, working closely with senior salespeople and traders. At Citi, we value internal mobility, and many former Analysts now work in sales and trading here as Associates, Vice Presidents, and Directors.

Your time here will look something like this...

You will work on your assigned desk performing a variety of functions, adding more value as you develop. You will be given the opportunity to rotate to multiple desks over the course of the program, allowing you to gain a broader knowledge base and network within the firm. Rotations may include Corporate Derivatives Sales, East Power Trading, West Power Trading, ERCOT Trading, Natural Gas Trading, Power Fundamentals, Origination, or Structuring. We believe our Analysts should be fully educated on different perspectives within the business, so we encourage Analysts to rotate to both sales desks and trading desks over the course of the program.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

All Commodities Analysts participate in a training program the first month that they join Citi. The comprehensive training program is taught by skilled external consultants along with selected professionals with industry and product expertise. Courses taught include oil fundamentals, power fundamentals, natural gas fundamentals, overview of derivative products, option pricing, risk management, and trading simulations.

• You will earn a Bachelor's or Master's degree by June 2024 in any major
• You have a GPA of 3.3 or above
• You possess strong accounting skills
• There are no major requirements; programming and statistics skills are encouraged.
