    What’s the role?

    At Bloomberg Finance, we are committed to providing world-class support to our business leaders by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.

    The Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) department delivers consolidated management reporting, financial analysis, & decision support to the senior decision makers of the company, leads finance transformation initiatives, and facilitates the business planning process.

    As an entry level Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for owning key processes and contributing to the financial management reporting, analytics, and operations function of the department.

    We’ll Trust you to:

    • Be an active participant in our Bloomberg Finance analyst training program to learn about the business models of Bloomberg, and how to perform the core FP&A functions that support them
    • Be a primary owner and contributor of a key set of financial reporting and deliverables that provide a broad range of decision support to senior leaders
    • Partner with external teams and stakeholders to consolidate, analyze, and benchmark the financial projections across the company for the annual operating plan and mid-year forecasts
    • Contribute to finance transformation and technology projects, including high impact work to enhance existing reporting processes, and streamline underlying data architecture to support the analytical needs of Bloomberg Finance
    • Perform data analysis using tools such as SAP, Alteryx, and Tableau to continuously improve and build new models for tracking and interpreting business performance
    • Contribute to ad-hoc presentations covering various analyses for senior leadership

    You’ll need to have:

    • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/green card holder, refugee, asylee)
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
    • Strong organizational skills, effective interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stakeholders
    • Ability to work across core businesses and finance teams
    • Basic Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to confidently work with data, identify general business trends and provide insightful analysis
    • Availability to start a full-time position in October 2023

    We’d love to see:

    • Knowledge of basic Finance and/or Accounting principles and procedures
    • Proficient programming, data analysis, and statistics background or competency
    • Proven curiosity about FinTech and the financial services industry
    • Internship experience or extensive coursework in finance, business or accounting

    Salary Range: 75,000 - 75,000 USD Annually + Benefits

    The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
