    Payroll Mailroom Clerk Credit One Bank - Las Vegas, NV 89119 $17 - $19 an hour The purpose of the Mailroom Clerk is to process incoming and outgoing mail, support small and large automated and manual mailing job and processes, proof read, compare and verify company documents and coordinate print jobs with print vendors, other mail room staff and management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Process Incoming/outgoing mail. * Sorting, scanning and transmission of claim for data processing. * Process returned mail by using available sources in the system. * Daily monitoring of all mailing and work with print vendor to stay top of all mailing. * Process bulk work orders (for printing / folding / dispatching of outgoing materials) from internal Departments. * Operate various machines such as check printing, postage meter, insert/folding etc. * Update and maintain mail room activity logs. * Receive incoming deliveries and notify related department. * Proof read, compare and verify company digital and printed documents. * Performs other duties as assigned. NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to: work from designated office for collaborative/interactive fulfillment of duties; concentrate in an open-office cubicle environment; appropriately and directly interact with other staff members and/or outside associates; perform telephone and/or computer work for extended periods of time; operate office equipment such as computer, telephone, and copy/scan/fax machine; attend and participate in meetings via phone, computer, or in person. Excellent oral and written communication skills including good grammar, voice and diction. Ability to read and interpret documents. Able to calculate figures and amounts. Proficient in MS Office with basic computer and keyboarding skills. Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
