The intern will be part of our FP&A team and will assist in providing financial support for retail business through learning and participating in the major FP&A responsibilities including financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting. You will have the opportunity to learn the various functions of finance department and will gain an understanding of the role finance is playing within an organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in developing weekly and monthly financial reporting for management and the retail team. Support the monthly close process, interpret monthly financial statements to understand risks, opportunities and trends. Help with operational KPIs reports to learn the key metrics in monitoring the performance of retail business. Assist in financial budgeting and forecasting to develop knowledge of the process. Work with the retail team to support internal customers. Other ad hoc projects as needed.
