homeownership. Customer Service Representative Position Summary: The
Customer Service Representative (CSR) answers a large volume of customer
service calls and assists customers with various requests/needs. The CSR
serves as a primary telephone representative and must be able to provide
all necessary support services. All calls are to be handled in a warm,
friendly and professional manner while providing the customer with
accurate information in a quick and efficient way. Essential Functions *
Answer internal calls, external calls and work calls from the Message
Center and respond to customer requests within established timelines in
order to maintain service level expectations in regard to call handling
time and calls per hour. * Provide information and knowledgeable
assistance regarding mortgage loans by retrieving loan information and
providing customers their information quickly and efficiently. * Build
customer relationships by actively listening and resolving complaints
quickly, efficiently and accurately. * Research items and follow-up with
customers in a timely manner. Work with other mortgage associates to
obtain the necessary information. * Participate in outbound call
campaigns. * When necessary, explain policies and procedures courteously
and patiently. * May provide written responses to customer inquiries as
needed. * Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all
associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and
service. * Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will
improve profitability and efficiency for the companys overall operation.
- Foster and promote the proper company image at all times. * Any other
job responsibilities requested by management. Qualifications Education:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required,
Bachelors Degree preferred Experience: * 6 months customer service
experience in a professional office environment required. * Previous
mortgage servicing experience preferred. * Previous call center
experience preferred * Maintain high performance and accuracy in a fast
paced, stressful environment * Good numeric aptitude and analytical
skills * Self-starter; able to work in fast-paced, deadline oriented
environment * Must project a friendly, courteous, patient, and helpful
professional demeanor at all times even under adverse conditions. * Must
possess a working knowledge in the use of personal computer, Internet,
calculator, fax machine, printer and other business machines. * Must
possess excellent personal relations skills, excellent telephone
etiquette, writing skills, and be willing to attend extensive systems
training. Skills: * PC knowledge and ability to navigate through
multiple online tools and systems * Typing WPM minimum: 35 Conditions of
Work: * Office setting * Ability to remain on the phone for long periods
of time * Ability to sit for long periods of time * Use of a computer
for long periods of time, including typing and viewing monitor * Based
