The Equity Derivative Middle Office provides support for equity derivatives and the equity swap trading desk included Structured Notes for sales and trading. The role acts as the main contact point for life cycle management and trade related request by internal and external clients. Daily tasks include facilitating trade bookings, queries on various structured trades, validating the economic integrity of the trades, ensuring settlement, client set-up is complete, all secondary buybacks formalities are actioned and facilitation of pricing (Bloomberg etc).
Trade support - Key Responsibilities
Providing lifecycle and ad-hoc issue/ request management support to trading desks
Accurately capture trades
Investigate and resolve issues causing breaks or failures for the supported business
Monitor various controls implemented to mitigate risk to the business
Identify areas for improvement and drive change to enhance control and reduce manual intervention
Requirements
5+ Years of experience supporting Equity Derivatives and Equity Swaps
System experience is a plus - Murex, Phase3, BPS
Strong knowledge of the equity derivative products and structured notes
Detail oriented with exceptional quality and productivity
Team player with capability to help maintain a positive work environment
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and processes
Strong verbal and written interaction skills
The expected base salary ranges from $73,750 - $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
