  • Responsibilities

    Quality Engineer needs 3+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

    Quality Engineer requires:

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field preferred but not required

    • 3+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

    • Understanding of ISO 9100, ISO 45001 and TS16949 requirements

    • Problem solving skills such as RCA, 5-Why, A3, 8D, etc.

    • Knowledge of water-based chemistry/adhesives preferred

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient in use of SAP

    • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead and coordinate efforts between various functional groups to address customer requirements and requests, and to complete projects related to the achievement of established quality improvement objectives.

    Quality Engineer duties:

    Responsible for the generating reports as required (CCMS, ECSL, blocked stock, scrap, NCM, etc.).

    • Support the set-up and maintenance of quality master data.

    • Conduct daily QC testing of intermediates and finished goods.

    • Support process scale up of PD materials and communicates with PD to troubleshoot current as well as future products.

    • Organizes Non-Conforming Material Process (acts as coordinator, quality representative, and drives timely decisions).

    • Use process and data driven analysis to assist with focused projects to improve quality and customer satisfaction.

    • Manages both Supplier Complaint Management System (SCMS) and Customer Complaint Management System (CCMS)

    • Improve First Time Right (FTR) rate for intermediate and finished good batches

    • Run cost savings initiatives to decrease plant costs/spending
