PC Technician duties:
Configures, delivers, and installs PCs, peripherals, and corporate standard software.
Oversees the building and maintenance of corporate computer images for laptops and desktops
Organizes and oversees the return of leased computer equipment, and prepares out-of-date equipment for donation or disposal.
Provides information for use in management decisions on the selection of desktop, laptop, and computer peripherals.
Maintains inventory of computers and components.
Serves as backup to PC support specialists, providing end-user support under their guidance and direction.
Contributes, as a subject matter expert (SME) to the development, implementation and maintenance of PC-related policies, procedures, and standards that conform with organizational objectives and IT industry best practices.
Documents technical issues and their resolution, in accordance with corporate standards.
