The Lock Desk Analyst supports the Capital Markets Department by assisting in meeting goals, providing superior customer service, presenting a professional image, and maintaining excellent communication with Mortgage Loan Originators, Clients, and Management. The Lock Desk Analyst must also demonstrate a strong desire to learn company policies, pricing engine operations, operating/risk platforms and relevant analysis. Verify and confirm daily lock-ins from all sources. Process requests for extensions, relocks, program changes, etc. Assist manager with generating daily rate sheets and pricing. Processes lock reconciliations for loan acquisition. Monitor multiple pipelines daily. Provide technical support for pricing engine users. Cross-train in other functional areas of Capital Markets Perform all other duties as requested or assigned. Work a potentially rotating schedule as needed by the business. Requirements High School diploma required; two-year college degree preferred. 2+ years of mortgage lending experience preferred. Optimal Blue Pricing Engine and Encompass system experience preferred, but not required. Strong Mathematical, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Well organized with attention to detail. A Strong sense of urgency is needed for this position. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Availability for later hours and rotating schedule as needed by the business.
