Impound Specialist is responsible for day-to-day operations with regards to all impound vehicles.
WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE AT FLAGSHIP AS AN IMPOUND SPECIALIST?
The Impound Specialist’s primary responsibility will be to oversee vehicles impounded; verify timely pickup of vehicle, decide on salvage, and work to negotiate fees to third party entities to secure vehicles.
Impound Specialist:
Make outbound and accept inbound calls
Provide thorough and accurate documentation of accounts
Negotiate Storage fees with Impound Facilities/ Repair Facilities
Determine the Value of units based on photos and/or PDA using Copart
Responsible to prepare hold harmless documents, Repo Affidavits, Seizure paperwork and affidavits
Responsible to inspect all impound notices to confirm validation based on state guidelines
Responsible for identifying fraud notifications and preparing file to be assigned to Replevin Department
Service accounts by investigating problems and finding resolutions to minimize risk to FCA
Perform account level research
Assign accounts out for repossession
Ensures repossession agencies have all information needed to secure collateral and are following all repossession guidelines
Work state specific accounts
Take escalated calls
ABOUT YOU:
EDUCATION
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: College Degree
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
EXPERIENCE
Required: 1-2 years of collections experience
Preferred: 1-2 years of auto collections experience
