Arundel Federal is currently seeking an Information System Specialist to provide technical software and hardware support to end users; troubleshoot and resolve system problems, and assist with project management research, implementation, and system administrative duties.

As the Information System Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Serves as the initial contact for all user access and application systems problems.
Troubleshoots and analyzes hardware and software problems and issues and provides hardware and equipment maintenance.
Able to work with users over the phone and resolve both hardware and software issues.
Manages user security access that include accounts, logins, access controls, email accounts, phones, and other items connected to the information systems.
Produces various statistical reports; and ensuring compliance with legal and administrative requirements.
Installs and configures hardware and software, and performs systems setup, daily backups, connectivity.
Develops and maintains documentation as directed by the IT Director
Implements internal controls to achieve compliance for internal and external audits and develops the compliance protocols to include in the software and hardware audit.
Trains users and creates information system user manuals and other resource materials.
Monitor system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
Performs other duties assigned by the IT Director.
Responsible for applying requirements relating to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) including Beneficial Ownership (BO).
Responsible for applying all the regulatory requirements during the performance of the job duties as assigned.
Complete all annual required BSA and other bank compliance training as assigned in a timely manner.
Are you the one we need? If you are, you’ll have these qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related work experience, including internships and related Professional IT Certifications from vendors such as Microsoft and CompTIA.
Must possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 11, Server 201x) and experience with Intune and M365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Must possess a customer service orientation and able to communicate with non-technical staff and customers.
Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting, and organizational skills.
Ability to comprehend and perform duties independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
Some local travel required.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and transport boxes, equipment, etc. from one location to another.
Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and use standard office equipment, including, but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone.
Ability to bend and stoop to string cables and install equipment.
