  • Responsibilities

    ROLE:

    • Provides Registered Investment Advisor firms with a dedicated resource to simplify the setup and processing of a wide variety of Managed Account offerings
    • Helps Advisors attract high-net-worth investors by offering a premier investment management solution which allows Advisors to compete with much larger RIA Firms by providing access to such sophisticated money-management services
    • Responsible for providing world-class service to Advisors and their end-clients on a daily basis consistently exceeding their expectations; representing the brand of TDA Institutional in every interaction
    • Responsible for overseeing the processing of Managed Account Program participant applications and enrollments

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review Managed Accounts client applications, and related forms daily
    • Daily management of UMAX, MAP, and MIS shared mailboxes
    • Field Advisor phone inquiries related to managed accounts programs
    • Monitor internal Managed Accounts distribution list and respond to various inquiries as needed and in a timely fashion
    • Respond to deposit and withdrawal verification requests from TAMP providers
    • Guides Advisors through paperwork requirements for each program offered
    • Assist sales with Advisor conference calls related to Managed Account
    • Perform welcome calls and serve as the initial point of contact for new investment managers
    • Work as a liaison between Advisors, third-party managers, and internal business partners for all account servicing needs
    • Learn and become proficient with Managed Accounts products such as MAP, UMAX, SAE, and other TAMP providers
    • Ability to decipher complex Advisor relationships and creatively provide managed accounts solutions specifically tailored to that relationship
    • Update Amerivest billing schedules when thresholds are met
    • Document ABP agreements and coordinate fee schedule set up in Veo-Admin
    • Effectively communicates features, benefits, and requirements of TDA's products and services, as well as all applicable firm and department policies
    • Produces high quality, accurate, and timely results
    • Enhances the Advisor experience by leveraging this associate's unique product knowledge by proposing a process, procedural, and/or product changes when needed
  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must possess strong listening skills
    • Must have a firm understanding of IBS processes and procedures that will allow for faster navigation of work streams which will result in more timely issue resolution
    • Capable of operating in a high-paced and team-oriented environment
    • Basic understanding of various portfolio management systems and other trading connectivity requirements for plan participants
    • Ability to determine Managed Account needs through the use of probing questions
    • Possesses thorough knowledge of the operational procedures of multiple program offerings
    • Previous experience managing client relationships required
    • Excellent communication skills, good market/industry knowledge, multitasking, and working knowledge of the TD AMERITRADE Institutional service platform is essential
    • Client Service experience preferred
    • Must be self-motivated, detailed, and client service oriented
    • Capable of quickly building a good rapport with Prospects, Sales, and Clients; assessing their needs and presenting features and benefits of TD AMERITRADE's various products and services
    • Advisor relations or comparable Institutional experience is required
    • Series 7 and 63 licenses
    • 4-year college degree
    • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
