Interested in gaining experience at the heart of fixed income trading? As an Interest Rate BLM Intern here at the CME, you will be working with senior product management team members to build and optimize CME Group's leading suite of interest rate futures and options.

This internship position will support the Interest Rates and OTC Business Line Management Team. Our team is responsible for expanding and globalizing CME Group's interest rate product offering (Futures, Options, and OTC Clearing), informed by detailed business analytics and close communication with our broad array of customers across the financial ecosystem.

The position is for a full-time internship during the summer (40 hrs/wk), with a potential extension into part-time hours during the school year (10-20 hrs/wk). Part-time hours and ability to work remotely may be flexible for strong candidates.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Analyzing trends in our business and using this to guide our strategy & sales efforts.
• Preparing materials for client meetings, as well as internal reports for management on the state of the business.
• Studying the competitive landscape and presenting opportunities for CME growth.
• Collaborating with adjacent teams to facilitate these processes.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Must be currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree (BS/BA).
• Analytical skills, including the ability to turn complex raw data into a useful summary.
• Ability to learn quickly and execute projects with limited guidance.
• An understanding of the financial system and CME Group's markets, and particularly a desire to learn more.
• Strong experience in Excel.
