Are you graduating between December 2026 - June 2027 and ready to jump-start your career in Investment Banking? We’ll show you how.

Investment Banking Insights gives you a closer look into the exciting world of investment banking and an opportunity to jump start the recruiting process with Raymond James.

What is Investment Banking Insights?

Our education intensive program includes three virtual learning sessions focused on educating top sophomore business students on how our analysts and associates help corporations raise capital, issue shares of stock in an IPO, provide financial consulting services and negotiate a merger or acquisition.

In between these virtual sessions, we will ask you to complete additional exercises to help gain more experience, including a sample strategic company analysis.

Prospective candidates who successfully complete these steps will be eligible for early access to our highly competitive 2026 summer analyst program. Qualified applicants will be invited to an all-expenses paid two-day experience in our New York office that includes networking, recruitment coaching and an inside look into financial services and investment banking.

Program Overview at a Glance

• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis so we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
• Selected applicants will receive a virtual interview invitation via email with completion instructions and link.
• Program participants will be notified no later than the first week of October to attend three virtual program sessions held October 16th, 23rd and 30th from 6:00-7:15 p.m. ET, and complete additional assignments.
• After successful completion, participants receive an invitation to our New York office for January 9-10, 2025 to get deeper exposure to our Investment Banking team and interview for our 2026 summer analyst program. Please note that travel costs will be covered.

Eligibility Requirements

We are seeking ambitious and motivated sophomore business students interested in growing and working with great teams of highly specialized bankers and analysts to deliver the best possible outcome for our clients. Qualifications include:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university
• Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
• Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

In addition to educating all prospective sophomores about Raymond James and a career in investment banking, we are committed to expanding the diversity of thought and representation in our profession and encourage underrepresented students to apply.
