    Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets group as an Analyst or Associate on the Power, Utility, and Energy sector team.

    In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the execution of investment-grade debt offerings and supporting our clients' financial objectives. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work on an industry leading team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and gain valuable experience in investment banking and capital markets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the origination and execution of investment-grade debt capital markets transactions, including bond issuances and liability management exercises.
    • Collaborate with senior team members across product groups and investment banking coverage teams in preparing pitch materials.
    • Monitor market trends, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic developments to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
    • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to support transaction structuring and pricing decisions.
    • Contribute to the development of financial models and valuation analyses for investment-grade debt issuances.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including syndicate, legal, and compliance, to ensure smooth deal execution and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
    • Support the team in maintaining and building strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are a plus.
    • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in debt capital markets, investment banking, or a related area.
    • Sound understanding of investment-grade debt instruments, structures, and capital market dynamics.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation techniques.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
    • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Series 79 and 63 licenses

    The expected base salary ranges from $100K - $225k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
