The functional areas within Corporate HR include global Recruiting, Training, Talent Management and Development, Diversity, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Technology, Finance, HR Service Delivery, and Workforce Analytics (WFA). Position Overview & Responsibilities: The Talent Management and Diversity Associate will be responsible for supporting projects by reviewing and analyzing data for talent based on business priorities. The position requires a self-starter with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues across the Human Resources organization. In this role, you will become very well versed with the talent management framework and diversity strategy, and then manage data extracts for statistical analysis & validation, the application of enhancing technologies related to talent data and diversity initiatives. As such, the ideal candidate should possess analytic skills, an understanding of talent and diversity, and an interest in technology. He/she should also be creative, have excellent communication skills, be execution oriented, and be inclined to create genuine business value through the alignment of technology and talent data. There is also an opportunity to help develop, from the business side, a technology product that will further automate data collection and analysis. Ad-hoc requests, in addition to pre-planned initiatives, comprise about 25% of the role. Key Responsibilities * Gather, analyze large data sets to extract useful insights * Keep consistent tracking of records and data * Work with the Talent Management team and various HR & functional groups to analyze business needs and design appropriate analytics solutions * Conduct analysis & reporting: Aggregate information from various data sources including Business Objects and generate senior level presentations * Analyze and report metrics related to Talent programs and initiatives including trending, diversity initiatives, promotions, demographics analysis, attrition etc. * Troubleshoot issues and liaise with technology on the remediation, testing and implementation of any fixes; System administration for the Talent Wall tool * Clearly communicate insights with teammates and stakeholders * Record, update and store documentation for change management and training on talent and diversity initiatives * Strong project management skills; detail-oriented * Ability to support and work with multiple stakeholders * Ability to work in a dynamic environment where work tasks vary and processes are changing * Data analytics skills; be able to tell a story with data * Strong time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and multi-task * Excellent communication skills: ability to synthesize information and present in written and verbal format * Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff to develop strong working relationships * PC skills: Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, charts, formulas; knowledge of Access is a plus; advanced PowerPoint skills * Analytical and data/information management skills * Proficiency with Microsoft applications; Knowledge of PeopleSoft and experience with Business Objects is preferred, but not required * Strong consulting skills * Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities * Operational management experience is preferred * Bachelors Degree; 3 - 5 years of experience
