    Business Operations Data Analyst JP Morgan Chase 20,258 reviews - Columbus, OH 43240 Banking Center Services (BCS) partners with the Chase Technology and Branch Administration teams to deploy and support the hardware and software implementations and Monitoring of ATMs in the Chase ATM network, with the goal to expand in the future. BCS is also responsible for supplier management for ATM hardware maintenance, cash servicing and transportation logistics. The team manages the firms ATM help desk. Within BCS, the Analytics & Business Services (ABS) team provides a wide range of operational data analysis, reporting and other services for the Consumer Bank. This role is part of the ABS team and is involved with Data Mining, Analysis, Visualization, Problem Solving and Reporting focused towards measuring and improving business performance and customer experience. This team uses state of the art tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau and other tools), and is a great team environment with 100% employee engagement scores from the Employee Opinion Survey and average 99% composite scores for Client Service, Excellence, Integrity/Fairness, Great Team and Winning Culture. The person who takes this role will be involved in the following: * Identify areas of opportunity through rigorous analysis of key performance metrics/indicators for each unit of Operations * Perform data analysis by mining information from various data sources and construction of that data into meaningful, actionable information * Develop reports and structure presentations to present key messages to senior management * Develop streamlined reporting and automated scorecards from various systems, including the ICDW * Have opportunities for future growth and development such as data analytics certifications and training Responsibilities * Gather, research, classify and evaluate data to provided analytical support for ad hoc projects in the line of business

    • Generate detailed reports focusing on financial information, volumes, staffing information, production performance and more * Interact with department managers and senior leadership to transfer and clarify various types of business data Qualifications * Experience analyzing data, preparing reports and making presentations in an ever-changing business environment along with a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline. * Minimum 1-2 years experience, preferably in financial services or background in data analysis * Minimum 1-2 years work experience using Excel.
