WHO WE ARE
We are the largest community college in Colorado, enrolling close to 28,000 credit students annually. As a PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR, COLLEGE NOW at Frederick High School and/or Monarch High School, you will uphold Front Range Community College’s dedication to maintaining curriculum integrity and consistent instruction by providing high quality teaching experiences.
You are learner-centered and responsive to diverse goals, including service to community. You will facilitate learning where, when, and how it best suits the needs of the diverse learning public we serve. You will prepare curriculum to prepare vocational, academic, and business-oriented students to succeed in a highly competitive, global economy by focusing on quality, innovation, technology, self-initiative, and problem solving. Collaboration, teamwork, cheerfulness, diversity and a priority on student success and satisfaction will characterize your work and our management.
As a Part-Time Instructor, College Now, you will provide rigorous, challenging, and engaging instruction based on FRCC curriculum standards and departmental policies. Front Range Community College recognizes and appreciates the key role and contributions that instructors have in relation to student success.
In this position, you will be supported by the Boulder County Campus College Now team: with onboarding, professional development, and instructional support at the high school site where the course will be taught.
If you are interested in teaching a college course at a high school site, you should express your interest in teaching in a concurrent enrollment program. The FRCC College Now program relies on excellent, engaging instruction that meets the high school student’s academic abilities and skills and complements them with a transformational college experience that introduces students to a pathway of lifelong learning. Incremental pay is one benefit of accepting a concurrent enrollment instructor position.
