Coordinator Position Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator role
supports the recruiting and onboarding process and is essential to the
operations of the Human Resources Department. Collaborating with the
Human Resources Team and matrixed reporting to both Director, Total
Rewards and Director, HR Business Partner the overall function is to
ensure a new hires onboarding experience transitions smoothly from
recruiting to their first day of employment. In addition, the Human
Resources Administrator serves as the first point of contact for all
general HR inquiries and assists with various initiatives that fall
within the scope of this position. Job Description: Roles and
Responsibilities * Assist recruitment team with candidate sourcing. *
Scheduling and coordinating candidate interviews via MS Outlook. *
Facilitate travel arrangements including flights, hotel stays and rental
cars. * Process and manage new hire pre-employment requirements
including background checks, drug screen scheduling, employment
verifications, I-9 completion, and follow-up related to these
activities. * Generate and distribute weekly New Hire Report to HR
Department. * Assist and troubleshoot onboarding issues with IT,
Facilities, and HR liaisons, i.e. POs, system access, etc. * Process
off-boarding activities including managing records, communicating
terminations to IT, and returning badge and equipment. * Complete
monthly compliance (OIG/GSA) screenings for active workforce and return
attestation. * Process immigration reauthorizations. * Manage and
fulfill verifications of employment and income requests for active and
terminated employees. * Organize and maintain personnel records. *
Review and revise company policies and procedures, HR help guides,
resources and other related documents as needed. * Support the
department objectives through continual process evaluation and
improvement. * Participate in and/or manage HR activities and
initiatives (e.g. Monthly Happy Hour, Rewards amp; Recognition Program).
- Drive employee engagement and adoption in employee referral program. *
Be an active participant in driving employee engagement though social
media. * Act as first point of contact for all employee related
inquiries and issues, while accurately communicating HR policies and
procedures to employees and management. * Orient new employees with
HRIS, Workday. * Manage Workday onboarding dashboard and announcements
and compose Workday email notification templates. Education, Experience,
and Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources,
Business, or Organization Development or equivalent preferred. * 1 - 3
years of experience in administrative experience with desire to pursue
an HR career. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must
include MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel and demonstrated skills in
database management and record keeping. * Ability to maintain a high
level of confidentiality. * Excellent organizational skills and ability
to work with minimal supervision and operate at a high level of
initiative. * Ability to work within a team environment as well as work
independently. * Candidate must be able to thrive in a high volume,
fast-paced environment, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks directed
