This role is part of Visa's North America Controllership team, responsible for the accounting and finance operations of North America's corporate accounting activities, and integrated into the broader Global Controllership function within Global Finance. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional looking to advance their career. This role will be integral to the corporate accounting team, driving the close and consolidation process with a focus on continuous improvement to achieve best-in-class results.
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the Controllership organization, focusing on close-the-books process improvement, system optimization projects, scaling accounting infrastructures, standardizing processes globally, and mentoring the accounting team. Responsibilities include managing the month-end close process, conducting analytical reviews, and researching technical and operational accounting issues. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and SOX 404 requirements. Additionally, you will lead process improvements for the close-the-books process, spearhead system optimization projects, scale accounting infrastructures, and standardize accounting processes globally.

** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
