    Ent Credit Union is Colorado's premier financial institution and is currently expanding service offerings across the state. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing Ent's new combined Center Leadership and Business Development function for rural markets. This individual leads a team that builds and cultivates new member/ group sales within the center and in the community. The role is accountable for using data and market trends to identify and develop new business, while partnering to create outreach, lead capture and development support programs and providing a centralized view for organization-wide business development activities and practices. A large focus is on Business-to-Business (B2B), identifying and developing relationships with high-potential community organizations and businesses to secure opportunities to engage with their employees and offer free financial education to support Ent's mission and earn opportunities to introduce products to support their needs. Another key emphasis includes Business-to-Consumer (B2C) support, representing Ent at employer and community events, driving in-person interactions to build brand awareness and consideration This position closely collaborates with Financial Education, Marketing and Business Unit Sales teams on strategy and execution to provide value to organizations and their employees. Maintain and increase working relationships with various business units and functions (Marketing, Financial Education, Sales, ECommerce, Compliance, Procedures, Operations, Risk Management, Information Technology, etc.) to manage projects and organize business development initiatives. This position provides strategic oversight and direction for all activities associated with the Service Center to increase operating revenue for the Credit Union.

    Essential Functions

    • Business Development and Relationship Management: Community and Business Networking: Create and maintain strong relationships with community partners, influencers, and various business units. Business Development Strategy: Lead business development initiatives, motivate staff, and coach for performance improvement. Cross-Department Collaboration: Maintain working relationships across departments like Marketing, Financial Education, Sales, ECommerce, Compliance, Procedures, Operations, IT, and Risk Management to manage projects and business development initiatives. Lead Tracking: Establish goals and monitor the progress of member leads through CRM, Tableau, and other internal reporting. Board representation or affiliation with the local chamber/economic development council/realtor association
    • Operational Compliance and Oversight: Regulatory Compliance: Oversee operational matters including compliance with BSA, CFPB, and other regulations, ensuring staff follow financial procedures. Budget and Resource Management: Manage center budget, FTE allotments, and ensure regulatory Canvas assignments are completed. Oversee operational Audits: Oversee center and internal audits, and ensure SCCM compliance. Operational Meetings: Conduct staff meetings focused on operational and regulatory issues.
    • Service and Sales Leadership: Service and Sales Activities: Initiate and direct service and sales strategies, lead in setting and achieving goals, and track results. Member Follow-Up: Ensure staff maintain an active follow-up program for members. Member Profiling: Conduct consultative member service through needs assessment, product recommendations, and problem resolution. Sales Meetings and Briefings: Conduct regular sales meetings and daily briefings to drive performance.
    • Staff Management and Development: Oversee staff supervision: Conduct staff meetings, delegate responsibilities and accountabilities to assure a smooth running center, and provide positive reinforcement. Training and Development: Oversight of training programs, ensure product knowledge and skills development, and track progress. Career Development: Oversight of coaching and career path development activities. Performance Management: Monitor and address sub-standard performance, recognize achievements, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

    Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Finance, Statistics, or a similar field of study
    • 8+ years' experience in Business Development / Marketing/ Financial Services positions of increasing responsibility, required, to include:
    • 5+ years' management experience, required
    • 3+ years' lending experience specific to consumer lending products, required
    • 3+ years' agriculture lending experience, preferred

    Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

    Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

    • Oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations at all organizational levels, from front line to executive and board members.
    • Demonstrated track record of strong relationship-building skills, influencing partnerships and driving business results with persuasion and sales-specific experience
    • ability to effectively collaborate on cross-functional teams and with senior executives; strong negotiation skills; polished and effective use of interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical, organization and problem-solving skills; proficiency with data analysis, forecasting and deriving insights.
    • Knowledge pertaining to the credit union industry/retail financial services business, with the well-rounded knowledge of credit union practices strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge, skills and abilities in project management, including effective budget development and management.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Contact Management Software experience a plus.
    • Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and comfort with ambiguity; entrepreneurial, creative and results-oriented; fearless enthusiasm for networking
    • Ability to work with a broad range of individuals and organizations; excitement, curiosity and passion for people and their personal and business needs.
    • Knowledge of Credit Union Policies, Procedures, and Audit requirements.
    • Ability to organize, supervise, and delegate effectively.
    • (preferred) Experience using Jack Henry Symitar/Episys.

    Additional Information

    The pay range for this position is: $130,228.80 to $143,956.80 per Year (S18)

    Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

    This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
