  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Own and maintain marketing analytics platform performance dashboards, KPIs, and metrics, monitor, analyze, and tune reporting to improve digital marketing program success

    • Lead Engineering team in sprints to optimize analytics platform in Datorama, PowerBI, and Tableau dashboards, and maintain data cleanliness using data warehousing tools like Google Cloud and FiveTran. Work with cybersecurity, systems architecture, product development, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance to Visa standards

    • Develop digital campaign analysis independently using BI tools including Tableau, Datorama, and PowerBI and share insights with leadership to drive investment decisions and campaign strategy

    • Lead database initiatives (warehousing, cleaning, targeting, segmentation, campaign sizing) to support global marketing teams, manage and improve data-related request processes and best practices that support nimble programs execution

    • Drive campaign reporting, including templates, methodology, cadence, and data integration, leveraging an assess, test, and refine approach. Act as a consultant to marketers to improve data literacy and marketing strategy

    • Measure marketing program performance against business goals and channel benchmarks. Manage campaign performance measurement using data-driven insights and optimize strategies to maximize impact and ROI

    • Implement global data strategies that support Marketing Automation initiatives (scoring, nurturing, triggering, gating, and so) and cross-CRM-MA initiatives (contact cleansing, normalization, dictionaries, parent-child data models, etc.) that ensure that data hygiene, quality, scalability, and governance are core to everything we do

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualification

    2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

    Preferred Qualifications

    3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
    BA or BS in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent, Masters or other relevant advanced degree valuable
    3 or more years progressive experience in a B2B data management, reporting, or marketing and sales operations roles, deep understanding of data-driven marketing, digital campaign reporting
    Experience as an analytics lead, with a balance of hands on execution and business insights, ability gain consensus with key stakeholders in a matrixed organization
    Strong analytical abilities to translate data into actionable insights that optimize marketing performance
    Proven domain expertise with Data Warehouse, CRM, Marketing Automation workflows (Tableau, Salesforce, Eloqua, Datorama, Dynamics, Google Cloud, FiveTran preferred), experience developing optimal structures for marketing databases that support global marketing initiatives
    Thorough understanding of marketing KPIs, global data hygiene processes, data mapping, and multi-country best practices, develop recurring and ad-hoc data quality reports that reflect progressive improvements
    Highly advanced Tableau, Datorama, and Excel skills, strong problem-solving and technical aptitude, and a passion for using data and insights to drive future business decisions, ability to distill and tailor complex information for various audiences
    Ability to prioritize, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where excellent organizational skills and project management expertise are required
    Knowledge of emerging cloud-based data quality and data enhancement tools for DW, CRM, MA systems a plus
    Positive attitude, persuasive and tactful, a true team player and self-starting contributor, proven by successful references from prior marketing, sales, or IT colleagues
    Role models and influences aspirational behaviors of leading courageously, obsessing about customers, collaborating as one Visa, and executing with excellence

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 95,200.00 to 134,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
